FAQ Ben Housing
Due to the current situation surrounding the COVID-19 virus, we are forced to minimize the number of viewings. This means that we will only view with suitable candidates. Please follow the steps as described on the "How does it work" page.
We do not charge (administrative) costs for tenants
Yes. Students are eligible to rent a property, unless the description of the property in question states otherwise.
If you are still interested after viewing the property, please let our broker know asap by e-mail or Whatsapp. We will then submit your documents to the landlord of the property, who will ultimately make the choice.
It will take no longer than a week. We will do our very best to let you know as quickly as possible!

There is very great interest in some homes. As a result, we cannot guarantee that you will always receive a response from us.
If after reading the ad text and viewing the photos and video you are interested in the property, we ask you to follow the steps as described on the "How does it work" page.
We do not charge a brokerage fee.
Yes. However, we do recommend you view the property in advance to help prevent any disappointments.
You may not be able to view the property in person. We can send you additional photos and videos in advance if this is the case. Ben Housing believes it is important for tenants to have sufficient information about the property they want to rent.
The properties on our site which are listed as "new" are still available.
By clicking the "Respond" button you can request a viewing. You can read how the process works on our "How does it work" page.
This is possible. However, we don’t recommend it. We know how important it can be to take a look at the property you want to rent before making a final decision.
Our website lists the status of each property as ‘new’ or ‘let'. Properties which are listed as ‘new’ are still available and have possible viewings planned. A property which is listed as ‘let’ is no longer available.
This varies per property. If there is a strict income requirement, it will be mentioned in the text on the property page.
It is of course necessary that you earn enough to be able to pay the rent. If this is not the case, you will not be chosen as a new tenant.
For students, we ask for a guarantor.
We use a cancellation period of 1 month.
You should receive three times the net monthly rent.
Because we are a real estate agent in the private sector, without waiting lists, urgency does not apply.
